Abstract Background 3D-printing has become increasingly utilized in the preoperative planning of clinical orthopaedics. Surgical treatment bone tumours within pelvis is challenging due to complex 3D structure geometry, as well proximity vital structures. We present a unique case where composite and nerve model lower lumbar spine, accompanying roots was created using 3D-printing. The 3D-printed an accurate reconstruction pelvic tumour traversing nerves for allowed efficient safe surgery. Case presentation bony spine CT, whereas were derived from MRI printed elastic material.
